2011 Cabramatta Moon Festival
Any plans for Father's Day? Why not spend the day at the Cabramatta Moon Festival this weekend, Sunday 4 September, from 11.00am to 8.00pm.
A record breaking 90,000 people came out in force to celebrate Fairfield City Council's 2010 Cabramatta Moon Festival.
The Cabramatta Moon Festival is recognised as one of Sydney's largest Asian celebrations. People from all parts of Sydney and different cultural backgrounds take part to celebrate the ancient Moon Festival tradition.
Great entertainment throughout the day -
-Performances by Mahogany and the Jason Jackson Show
-Crowd favourites - noodle eating, moon cake eating and prawn peeling competitions
-Monster Truck display
-Lion Dancing and Martial Arts demonstrations
-Children's lantern parade led by the Moon Goddess
-Cooking demonstrations -Gourmet food stalls -Festival ends with a spectacular fireworks display at 8.00pm
